1) Who we are
“Azoid”, “we”, or “our” refers to Azoid Technologies Pvt. Ltd., provider of the Azoid
event-discovery platform (azoid.co
and mobile apps). We help users discover, book, and participate
in curated group meetups and experiences at verified real-world venues.
2) Scope
This Policy applies to all Azoid digital properties—website, mobile apps, APIs, forms, and communications. It governs how we collect, use, and share personal data of all users (“you”).
We comply with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act), the GDPR, and other applicable privacy frameworks.
3) Nature of Business
Azoid is an event discovery, ticketing, and community-activity platform. It is not a social networking, dating, or messaging service, nor does it host gambling or speculative activities.
Any communication features in Azoid are solely for coordination within confirmed meetups or event discussions, not for open or unrelated messaging.
We do not process user-to-user financial transfers, virtual currencies, or high-risk digital goods. Payments are strictly for legitimate event or service bookings.
4) Data we collect
- Account data: name, username, email, hashed password, phone verification.
- Identity verification: OTPs or government ID if required by law (stored securely).
- Location data: approximate (IP) and optional precise GPS for nearby events.
- Meetup data: events created/joined, RSVPs, and venue metadata.
- Payment data: transaction IDs, billing name, tax details (no card/UPI PIN stored).
- Device & usage data: app logs, crash analytics, cookie identifiers.
- Support & communication: messages sent to Azoid (support, feedback).
5) How we use data
- Provide event-discovery, booking, and participation features.
- Enable safe communication limited to meetup coordination.
- Process payments, send receipts, and handle refunds.
- Prevent fraud and maintain platform integrity.
- Comply with taxation, KYC, and lawful disclosures.
- Improve recommendations, analytics, and product features.
7) Payments
All transactions are securely processed by Razorpay or equivalent regulated payment partners. Azoid never stores full payment instrument details. We retain minimal data (transaction IDs, invoice references) for audits and refunds. Razorpay’s Privacy Policy governs payment-instrument processing.
8) Compliance & Non-Prohibited Use
Azoid fully adheres to Indian law and the acceptable-use policies of our payment partners. We do not host or facilitate:
- Gambling, lotteries, or games of chance;
- Adult or sexually explicit content;
- Cryptocurrency, NFTs, or speculative trading;
- Virtual currency transfers, remittance, or money-service operations;
- Friend-finder, dating, or general social-networking functionality.
All payments processed through Azoid are for event participation, subscriptions, or legitimate service bookings only.
9) Ads & analytics
We use privacy-friendly analytics tools to understand usage and improve performance. If we introduce advertising in future, it will be clearly labeled and consent-based.
11) Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent at any time under the DPDP Act or equivalent privacy laws.

12) Security
We implement encryption (HTTPS/TLS), firewalls, and restricted internal access. While we strive for full protection, users should maintain strong passwords and caution in public networks.
13) Retention
Data is retained as long as necessary for service delivery or legal compliance (e.g., accounting). Upon account deletion, non-essential personal data is purged within 30–60 days.
14) Children’s data
Azoid is strictly for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Reports of underage accounts will lead to prompt deletion.
15) International transfers
Data may be processed in or outside India (e.g., AWS regions). Cross-border transfers comply with contractual and legal safeguards.
16) Emails & SMS
- Transactional: OTPs, receipts, event reminders.
- Marketing: sent only after explicit opt-in; unsubscribe anytime.
- SMS: limited to verification and essential updates.
17) Policy updates
We may revise this policy as laws evolve. Material updates will be notified via app or email. Continued use indicates acceptance of updated terms.
